English Carmel Frosting
This carmel frosting has the consistency of cooked fudge-like icing. It is from
an old Domino Sugar package. It works well on gingerbread or chocolate
cake.

2/3 cup butter
1 c firmly packed Domino Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 c milk
1 lb Domino Confectioners Powdered Sugar
1 t vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar and milk and heat
to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil gently 5 minutes. Cool 10
minutes. Blend in confectioners sugar until smooth. Add
vanilla. Beat until spreadingt consistency.
