Old Fashioned Cookies
The purpose of this site is to provide old-fashioned cookie recipes. The idea
for the site arose from my search for my Aunt Lorna's Vanilla Strip cookie
recipe. Aunt Lorna made these delicious and unique cookies every
Christmas, but somehow the recipe was lost after she died. I finally located
a copy and am happy to share it along with other old-fashioned family and
vintage recipes that may be in danger of being lost.
These are family recipes, from mine and other's families. None are from later
than the 1960's. They are all delicious. Be sure to use the specified
ingredients, no substitutions.
